  • Overview


    Under the direction of the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for answering all incoming phone calls and greets walk-in customers and vendors. Responsible for distribution of incoming, outgoing and inter-office mail.  Maintains a high standard of business ethics and professionalism.



    1. Sorts and distributes all mail according to destination such as facility location, department, etc.
    2. Runs postage and prepares outgoing mail for pick up.
    3. Processes certified and registered mail and proof of mail
    4. Maintains a high degree of accuracy and professionalism in all typed correspondence
    5. Serves as a cashier for the Waipahu Parts Department. Records cash sales documents on a cash sheet form and prepare deposit slips daily to include daily cash box balances.
    6. Processes freight account payable invoices. Researches to get proper coding and vouchers the invoices either by scanning to San Diego or inputting them on SharePoint.
    7. Keeps inventory of all office supplies for the branch. Prepares orders for the replenishment of supplies, as needed.  Processes all requests for office supplies and equipment from department managers/representatives.  All routine orders to be approved by department managers and any large orders to be approved by the General Manager.
    8. Assists with the upkeep of visitor’s board.
    9. Performs other duties as assigned.



    1. Must have a minimum of one year’s experience in an office environment.
    2. Must have knowledge on Microsoft word and excel
    3. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
    4. Must have a valid Hawaii Drivers’ License.
    5. Maintains a high degree of accuracy and professionalism in all typed correspondence
    6. Good verbal and communication skills.


    TESTING REQUIREMENTS:  Applicants may be required to pass a written and/or oral examination before being considered for employment in this position.

    8. Talking:       Communications by phone and in person.
    9. Sitting:        Sits at desk.  Sits for long periods of time.



    1. Noise:   Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
    2. Temp/Weather: Works in an office environment.
