  • Overview

    Under the supervision of the Rental Branch Manager this position exists to provide administrative support in the areas rental operations and rental revenue opportunity planning and sales execution.


    1. Provide construction project information to the Rental Branch Manager for use in pursuing new business; new jobs being planned, awarded, or starting. This source of this information is through mining and analysis of Dodge Data and Caterpillar Dealer Opportunity model (DOM)
    2. Prepare various operational reports for submission to Caterpillar - - rental volume, new accounts, active accounts etc.
    3. Responsible to assess daily repair and maintenance needs and report findings to Branch Manager for prioritization and scheduling.
    4. Prepare sales reports related monthly sales representative performance against expectations.
    5. Provide rental rate quotations for sales representatives.
    6. Assist Corporate Used Equipment efforts through gathering and distributing machine information requests - - photos, condition reports, etc.
    7. Centralized point for creating and maintaining documentation related to all operational initiatives, processes, and procedures.    
    8. Responsible for communicating to HPC personnel both written and verbal instructions and procedures related to IRS system implementation and on-going use in accordance with company guidelines.
    9. Assisting with all phases of inventory management including but not limited to; report preparation, research, physical counts, and yard maintenance and cleanliness.
    10. Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
    11. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
    12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.



    1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; three to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
    2. Must have good communication skills both verbal and written, and proper business etiquette.
    3. Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
    4. Maintains a high degree of accuracy.
    5. Must have a demonstrated history working with MS Office programs with a high degree of proficiency with Excel Program.
