Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Marketing Analytics Specialist supports the dealership’s strategic goals through compiling and maintaining high-quality data and performing analytics that inform sales and marketing decisions.  The analysis may involve determining ROI for marketing campaigns, identifying and projecting sales trends, summarizing customer needs and more.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Offer critical insights for areas of opportunity by providing Marketing and Sales Managers with trend projections as well as accurate analyses of campaign ROI and sales lead performance.
  2. Build the dealership’s customer knowledgebase by conducting valid research on customer needs, feedback and demographics, and maintain CRM tools to ensure data quality.
  3. Drive customer-focused solution development and business strategies by integrating multiple sources of data and sharing findings with management through written reports and effective visualizations.
  4. Extend the dealerships data capabilities by evaluating and recommending external information providers and vendors, and manage relationships with these third parties.
  5. Ability to perform complex analysis such as regression, trending and forecasting preferred.
  6. Define, implement, and maintain a corporate wide process to collect, qualify, and distribute all inbound leads from various campaigns and channels in order to convert to sales ready opportunities.
  7. Demonstrate effective understanding of targeted audiences including industry knowledge, trends, and key business issues, along with an understanding of Hawthorne’s product and service offerings.
  8. Nurture valuable relationships with customers to increase sales, by capitalizing on all opportunities and maximizing coverage.
  9. Work closely with Sales and Marketing to build and maintain an effective pipeline of leads in order to support revenue goals.
  10. Own and maintain all dealership CRM databases, performing upgrades, ensuring data integrity and maximizing storage capacity and performance.
  11. Provides CRM application training and support for all internal users as well as training on analytical processes and tools.
  12. Manage CRM system for customer and sales lead updates.
  13. Communicate and follow up with marketing assigned accounts regarding current campaigns and special offers with special attention to BCP conquest campaigns.
  14. Create and update dashboards for reporting of data.
  15. Other marketing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  1. Education – Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or statistics or minimum of 4 years’ progressive experience with data analytics.
  2. Customer Oriented – Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
  3. Communication – Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and general public.
  4. Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
  5. Organized – Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
  6. Problem Solving – Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work related problems.
  7. Mathematical Skills – Calculate figures, discounts, interest and percentages, use of basic algebra.
  8. Computer Literate – Experience with MS Office applications. Familiar with Project Management tools.
  9. Analytical skills – Review, analyze and interpret data, business periodicals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
  10. Travel – Some travel required, must have a valid driver license.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  1. Walking and moving about on foot often up and down stairs and occasionally over uneven terrain.
  2. Handling: Seizes, helps or works with hands.
  3. Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous paperwork, some potential for lifting up to 50lbs.
  4. Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
  5. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
  6. Standing: Remains in standing position, if required to perform various functions of the job.
  7. Vision: Reads paperwork, records on the computer.
  8. Talking: Communications by phone and in person.
  9. Sitting: Sits at desk. Sits for long periods of time.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL:     

  1. Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
  2. Temp/Weather: Works in an office environment.
